The ceramide complex of skin-identical (biomimetic) lipids stabilises the skin barrier and reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL). The skin's resistance is improved, it is protected and remains well moisturised.
Ceramides such as sphingo and phospholipids are natural main components of the lipid barrier and essential for healthy skin. They support the maintenance of a healthy barrier function and repair the lipid barrier after damage. At the same time, exogenous irritants are prevented from penetrating the skin. Skin protection against bacteria, viruses or fungi plays a major role especially in damaged skin and skin diseases. Ceramides form an immediate vapour barrier in the interstices of the stratum corneum, which reduces increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Reduced moisture loss (TEWL) keeps the moisture content high and the skin supple. This is especially important after skin removal procedures.

In the morning or evening, after cleansing and toning, spread the entire contents evenly over the face, neck and décolleté.
