Maple sugar extract has excellent moisturizing properties and aids in retaining moisture in the skin. This makes the skin softer and more hydrated. Antioxidants in maple sugar extract protect the skin from environmental damage, including free radicals and UV rays. Sugar cane extract contributes to exfoliation. Sugar cane contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) that help remove dead skin cells, improving texture and evening out the skin tone. This extract also thins sebum and cleanses pores, preventing the formation of blackheads and acne.
